Graduate careers in accountancy

All September start date roles closing on 2nd July

Put simply, management consultants help organisations to achieve their specific goals or longer-term strategic objectives. The work we do is highly varied, so our team is made up a wide range of specialists. We take the time to get to know our clients really well, comparing where they are now with where they want to be, and taking a good look at how they are currently doing things so we can offer real competitive advantage.

Within the consulting stream we have many highly diverse service areas. For example, business consulting advises on management and organisation development for both the private and public sectors.

We advise both education and healthcare providers, enabling them to deliver new projects. We also work with local government to help councils deliver high quality, low cost services to their residents.

We provide financial and technology consulting to help organisations meet their strategic objectives. We have specialists who advise businesses in the hotel and leisure industry. Meanwhile our ICT consultants help clients to gain the most value and benefit from their investment in technology systems.

Our International Projects Group helps to deliver transformational change in some of the most troubled areas of the world, helping both the public and private sectors to achieve Millennium Development Goals and Poverty Reduction Strategies.

Last but not least, we are specialist advisers on Private Finance Initiatives (PFI) and Public Private Partnerships (PPP), and we provide financial modelling services in relation to such projects.

As you can see, Consulting is a huge area, with many different opportunities to explore. Much of the time we are working closely with our clients on-site, so you’ll need excellent people skills and enthusiasm for new challenges.
